Tikim50: Tea Prince (Fairview, Quezon City)

So far, all of my recent posts are about tea places and drinks, but before i take a turn into trying another thing, let's try to see my new chill place TEA PRINCE.
Tea Prince
I've always wanted to check this place out because i find the name interesting and all and when i got there, it gave me the aura that i was expecting. The place was bright and cozy. great place to study or unwind.

We all know the saying "curiosity killed the cat", right? well, I'm curious whether they offer same teas like every other tea shops or if ever they'll satisfy my craving for a new taste.

Menu

They had different drinks to offer and even a few snacks if you're hungry.

Oh, and a new add-on too!
I tried the Cherry Blossom fruit tea and my friend got the chance to drink the Dark Choco Milk Tea drink.

And remember the saying I stated above?
Yup! Definitely gave in!
All I can say is that they gave me the new taste I want to try and you have a chance to write on the opinion board.
Oh and yeah! I'll introduce you to a cute figure below.
This is Prince Kitty accompanying us while we're at the place.
So if ever you need some place to relax or want to satisfy your curiosity with a new drink, TEA PRINCE is definitely a must try!

Tikim47: Bubba Lab (Marikina Heights, Marikina City)

On a rainy Friday Evening, we happen to pass by a new tea place in Marikina while searching for a place to eat dinner and I decided to check it out because of its inviting aura.

Unlike any other tea/juice/coffee place, Bubba Lab offers a new kind of experience for its customers, especially for a ScienTEAst!! It's black and violet interiors adds the cozy feel to the place. The decorations like the Flasks with potions would make you feel like you're in a laboratory making those Physics experiments like what we usually do in High School!

it's quirky menu and tea/juice/coffee names add more fun to the service! (great idea!)

(Br) if I can clearly recall, that's the shortcut for Bromine? I forgot its physical properties (HAHA)

check out their huge Periodic Table of Elements for a menu list!

also for their menu plate

Oh, and a scienTEAst will also serve you well!

Coffee, Juice, Tea or HIM?

here are the elements! or should I say the flavors..

and of course, the drink! since it's my first time there, I asked one staff the best they've got to offer and they recommended the Bubba Lab Milk Tea (Butterscotch and milk)

great combination of the "Elements"! Scien'TEA'fically delicious!!

and some posters that surround the place.

All i can say is that every penny you spend will be worth every sip! so all you scienTEAsts and tea lovers out there who wants a new experience and feel for your milk tea/coffee or juice cravings, Bubba Lab is definitely   a must try place!

Tikim 24: A Japanese kind of burger at Sango (Tomas Morato, Quezon City)

By now, you have seen or have eaten in Sango Shangrilla Mall or in Rockwell Power Plant. The origami that decorated their restaurants in the said branches are still a unique feature in their newly opened branch in Tomas Morato, Quezon City. We then found out that they closed their Shangrilla branch due to construction of the bridge connecting the One condominium and the mall.

Me and Evan always order the yakiniku rice burger in Sango's Shangrilla branch whenever we want to take a fast dinner. On the table, Evan ordered the same thing but note that the rice burgers they serve in Tomas Morato are in SUMO size!!! I wish they have a variety of sizes because some can't finish a large sized burger. This can also give them their unique selling point as this can give more options to the customer; allowing him to try other flavors by ordering with smaller sized alternatives.

Out of curiosity, I decided to try on somerhing new. I then ordered their chili hotdog. On their menu, it didnt look so big but I got overwhelmed with its size when it arrived on the table. It wasn't that spicy though but I have to give credit to the sidedish it came with- fries was awesome! Ü For our drinks, Evan ordered a honeydew melon soda. He liked the fact that there's an establishment that serves fruit sodas which you can rarely find in Manila restaurants (which serve Coke, Pepsi, and the like). I also like Sango's milk tea, it was smooth, not too sweet, and fragrant to drink! Give it a try when you're eating in Sango :p

Tikim23: Share Tea now in Town (Wilson, San Juan)

A review by guest blogger, Pam See :)

Milktea is obviously a hot trend in the foodie community here in Manila, and adding to the growing collection of milk tea places is Sharetea. Hailing from Taiwan, this place also offers a variety of milk tea flavors- the classics, fruit based, yakult based, cream based, and even ice cream floats. You also get to adjust the level of sugar and the amount of ice according to your preference. The place doesn't offer side dishes aside from its drinks, but maybe because it's still in the soft opening stage. Let's see later on.

Since Cha is sick, I'm filling-in for her. :p Being a fan of taro, I decided to try that one out. Regular Taro Pearl Milk Tea, less ice, 50% sugar (Php 90). Evan ordered a Large Okinawa Pearl Milk Tea, no ice, 0% sugar, extra pudding (Php 100+15)

We both think that the tea wasn't strong enough, both tasted watery considering the fact that we have lessened the ice and the sweetness level. There was a generous amount of tapioca balls in our milk teas though, but I think those tapiocas were too rubbery in texture for my taste. I'm not sure how Sharetea will make itself stand apart from the rest of the milk tea places in the vicinity. It's not exactly the ideal hangout place as compared to Teatap, and you can pretty much get the same drinks in Serenitea which is only one street away. Oh but Sharetea do have the rocksalt cheese in its menu which really hyped up Happy Lemon before. Well, whatever the case may be, at least people have another milk tea place to choose upon.

Tikim20: Tea Tap your way (San Juan)

A close friend told me about Tea Tap Cafe and since I am in the San Juan area, I checked it out! I wasn’t disappointed with Tea Tap Cafe, they have modern, cozy, and clean interiors which makes it a good hangout place (free wifi, clean washrooms, and fun smart glasses)! In splashes of blue and white, it is indeed a calming space to drink tea, catch-up with friends, and enjoy the ambiance.

Meow welcome!
A spacious hang out place! Yay!
Order here

Tea Tap Café offers milk tea, fruit tea, freshly brewed tea, a variety of yakult flavors, and grass jellly infused drinks. Just like in other tea cafés, you can choose the sweetness level and add-ons/drink toppings.  Unique and Interesting at the same time, they have Perilla (basil seed jelly), grass jelly, and red bean as their add ons. Upon receiving or tasting your order and you think that your drink is too strong/bland, the sweetness syrup is just around the corner to save your order...and it’s FREE! =) A star for the tea tap cat!

The café also offers snack food to fill in those hungry tummies! Pasta, Korean style buffalo wings, Japanese takoyaki, and chili cheese roll are all available to satisfy your desire. On my next visit I will surely try them out!
