Tikim2: Bistro Filipino by Chef Laudico, Fort, Taguig

If you want to taste Filipino cuisine that you can bring or showcase your foreign visitors, Bistro Filipino should definitely be on your list. I am not really a Filipino cuisine lover but this restaurant changed my conception including my boyfriend's view on Filipino food!
Inside the restaurant

A treat for its customers is their buffet worth P788.00 [excluding Chilean Sea Bass, Angus Rib Eye Bistek Style, and Adobo Overload] only available during Friday and Saturday dinner. The buffet is worth a try because you can try out most of their offering in half servings. If what you ordered is not enough you can always order more since it's a buffet. Just remember to leave some room for dessert.
Mouth Watering Buffet Menu
Here are some of my favorite dishes:
Ubod Spring Roll: Fried Ubod with a spicy salsa-ish sauce
Crispy Pancit Molo: A favorite appetizer of mine

Spicy Tuna  Kilawin
Pork Sisig Shooters: Eat em with the quail egg!

Shitake Mushroom Cappuccino: Drink up the mushroom soup, it's one

Mongo Shrimp Bisque
3 Kinds Mango Salad
Angus Beef Noodle Pares: Sweet sauce here

Grilled Chicken Fillet with Taumarine Rice and Bistek Sauce: This is my order every time I eat here
Wagyu and Lengua Estofado: The burnt rice [tutong] makes this dish me
Angus Beef Kare Kare

Grilled Salmon with Taumarine Rice and Binagoonan Sauce
Sauce is a taste adventure but it goes well with the grilled fish
Molten Chocolate Cake

Maja Blanca Cheesecake: A cheesecake with coconut
Pandesal Pudding: A balanced sweet taste to end the dinner
Halo-halo Napoleon: What makes this special is the carabao sorbet
Sansrival Moderne & Tsokolate Oh!
Suman Pana Cotta Savarin
Banana Q Tart

Yema balls

Tikim1: Watami, Mongkok, HK

On my recent trip to Hong Kong I was able to satisfy my tastebuds and my hungry stomach!
It's very funny that even if we did a lot of walking, my companions and i gained a bit of a weight!

On our very first dinner, which is a "wash dust" affair (welcoming dinner by my friend Rainnis), the dinner gave me a sneak peek of what is more to come! We ate at Watami, and ordered the following dishes..see and you might get hungry..Yummm:)

Mochi Cheese Gratin: Good to eat when hot coz' it will be very sticky when it's left to be cold

Okonomiyaki: the fish flakes tastes better for some reason :)

Gyoza on a Hot Pan: Gyoza's should be served in hot plates!
Hamburg Meatball with Egg on Hot Pan: this is my FAVE :D:D:D:D:D A must try!

Garlic Seafood Rice Stone Pot: A different take on Korean Bibimbap

Pepper Beef Rice in Stone Pot: Reminds me of Pepperlunch, coz' you'll be cooking the meat
If you will be in Hong Kong, make sure to try this restaurant! It's a relaxing environment where you can eat great food and be with great company

Verdict: 5/5
